The home team will be determined via coin flip at the beginning of each game
3 females on the field at all times (10 total on the field) – if you are short a female, your team will play with 9 on the field, or a male can play catcher
1 female after 2 males in the batting order (the female may change in the lineup but the males should stay in the same order)
No new inning after 1 hour and 10 minutes- max 7 innings
Max 5 runs per inning, last inning (7th) max 7
Final standings will be determined by most wins in each pool and tie breakers will be determined by least runs against, then run differential
Please arrive 15 minutes before your game time to ensure all games are on schedule
No warmup in between innings, only the first inning or if there is a new pitcher
No metal cleats
Do not touch home plate, instead run across the line behind homeplate. The out will be determined if the catcher has possession of the ball on homeplate before the runner crosses the line
Commitment line between 3rd base and home plate, once the runner crosses the commitment line, they must continue to home
No infield fly rule
No leading off
Pitches should be above 6 feet, but lower than 12 feet- the umpire will give a warning first to each pitcher and the call is at the umpire’s discretion. The umpire will call “NO PITCH” before the ball lands if they believe the pitch is not the appropriate and after the first warning
Outfielders must stay at or behind marked line on the fence, i.e cannot play too far in
Unlimited courtesy runners once the batter has reached first base (courtesy runner must be last out- male replaces male and female replaces female)
After 2 strikes the batter is allowed 1 foul ball, the 2nd foul ball, the batter is out
